A few more pictures for Solly from our Fairbanks trip.

(It's taking me forever to get through these - the gardens are keeping me busy.)

This is approaching the town of Glennallen. Mt. Drum in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is dead ahead.


Near Paxson, we spotted this solitary swan, just swimming around, chilling out.


At this altitude, there was still quite a bit of snow, but the air temperature was warm.


If you look real close, you can see the cabins and buildings on top of the hillside in the middle of the photo.


A couple of caribou. The one in front seems to be saying something, like "Hurry up, the humans have spotted us."

The first one brought to mind the show "Northern Exposure".
