Related: About this forumTook a little trip through the Carneros district this morning
I started off at the big grape crusher statue with a view of south Napa. This used to be cow country, but is now vineyards.
Took Hwy 12 to Duhig Rd, which turns into something, which turns into something else and eventually dumps you back on 12 near the Windoz desktop, which is now all vineyards. This is Domaine Carneros. Don't know who these people are, but I think they add to the ambience.
Carneros is noted for its rolling hills. Beautiful country.
I took a little side trip to the wet lands. The roads out here basically float. It's a little like driving outside of New Orleansmore roller coaster than road.

(20,886 posts)So in this in this collection, the first and Domaine Carneros are NapaCounty. That, I'm sure of. The little wandering back roads are kind of hard to tell which county.
