They reminded me of butterfly wings, but not as fragile. They also have a series of plainer feathers supporting these marvelous ones. They are covered when they let the display down. These are also discarded occassionally, but are not remarkable except for their length. Peacocks are beautiful for the twp... antennas... for want of a better word... on the top of their heads. They are good as guards, like guinea keets, they make an awesome racket if there is an intruder. They spent the night in the trees. Thanks for posting these as they remind me of that time in my life.
