Into the deep and hot Bayou to visit the Gators a few July days ago

We took an air boat ride into the Bayou of Louisiana and slowly we saw the Gators appear and then disappear again.
Hope you enjoy the ride from an air conditioned seat

This was our driver / guide with a little 2 year old “baby” gator he passed around for folks to hold. I passed on this priviledge.

I applaud your stamina to be down there in the heat, my friend.

Would have been fun to hold the baby gator, I think.
Bit too close and personal for the big ones, tho.

when the little one was passed around. I got poked on the shoulder and turned to stare the person handing it to me in the face and almost lost my balance off the boat backing away. The entire 16 folks on the boat laughed at me in hysterics.
I - for one - understood my reaction perfectly.
