I don't much like spiders but your photos are super!

And the first panorama is my fav! It really feels panoramic.

And I almost didn't see your "not a spider." Handsome little green fellow.

And by the way, I think we need to talk about surrogate hosts being able to enter contests. I don't think we have a rule against it, nor do I think we should. But I don't remember if a surrogate has ever entered. I think you should have entered one of those panoramas. The walkway and the last one would have been good entries.

4. When I agreed to help I just assumed the same rules applied.

For me, not entering the August contest meant less stress. It turned into a hectic month.

But I can see where an exception could be made for those helping out. You shouldn't be penalized for it.

5. The idea of the winner abstaining was so the same person wouldn't win consecutive contests

Since the surrogate host didn't win the previous contest, there is no reason not to enter.
