A spring visitor -

Just for fun, since I haven't posted here in . . . er . . . mumble . . . a couple of years -

We had at spring visitor a few weeks ago (or he slept in all winter without us knowing he was there):

And, after it got warm enough to escort him back outside:

(And yes, he's a frog - a roughly 1.25" gray tree frog to be precise, not a toad, but I like frogs too!)

and the fern threads give him character... frogs are very good luck

my late husband had a very unique collection of frogs (not real, of course - he had an affinity for Asian culture)

This little guy just appeared on our basement door (the inside) We weren't sure he had just come in from the outside (as opposed to hanging out on the jade plant when it came in last fall), and we didn't want to give his system too much of a shock putting him outside in freezing overnight conditions if he really had been toasty inside all winter, so we had a free range tree frog in the house for several days. It was very interesting trying to find him every morning.

Most of my recent work isn't anything I can share (NILMDTS.org). So it is nice this little guy gave me an opportunity to share.

It was pretty looking with my naked eye, but nothing like when it is upsized.
