Montelena

Had some time to kill while I waited for the vet to do some tests on my cat, which is a story unto itself, so I went to Chateau Montelena. Only had my point and shoot, but the best camera is the one you have. So….

A nice sunny day, and the turtles were out in force.

And there were a couple of buffleheads touring the lake.

Looks worth a visit, judging from your shots. I especially like the duck.

Next time the kids come up for a visit I'll drag them up there. Not that I'll have to drag much, as they love to wine taste.

I think everyone was sitting on nests this time. Excellent (and expensive) wine. As with just about everyone these days, there's a tasting charge. You can book the islands for picnics, but reservations fill up fast.

The cat will recover. I'm not sure the vet will, though.
