My brother recently took a job in Kotzebue as the general manager for the dietary department at the Maniilaq Health Center, so we're going out to visit him next month for a few days. We've never been there, so I'll have pics of something completely new and different. My brother says it's great for beach combing - sometimes you can find old Native artifacts or bits of ivory on the beach. Even though the sun goes down for 4-1/2 hours that time of year, it'll still be twilight from midnight to 5:00 a.m. It'll be fun. I always like to go to new places in Alaska.
