8. I'm in, after deciding between 2.

The original of this one was taken by a photographer from a plane flying around the neighborhood, near when I arrived here 3 years ago. I bought it from him, HAD to, and it now hangs in my living room. So I took a pic of the pic.

Gives a different perspective, from the pic I took and entered, don'tcha think???

14. My week of electronic mishaps and small disasters

My iPod Classic has a dead battery, my iPod nano (the backup) fell out of my bra in the first hour of walking along a busy street not to be found again. The used IPod classic from eBay arrived but by then my laptop completely froze up and is in Texas for repair (I'm almost sure Apple Care will pay for it getting new guts) so I can't put the iPod in use til the laptop comes back next week.
My IPad separated from it's keyboard, I caught the teeny tiny screws, put them in a baggy and went to see my watch maker person to use his tiny tools and he is on vacation all week.

Are you smiling yet? I must say I actually find it pretty hilarious.
I plan to enter the contest, am taking a few photos and look forward to being able to download them etc.

So far I like what I see. Home sweet Home, I will be happy to see more entries.

18. I'm chuckling

I will enter when I can. I have a couple of regular computers with which I drive my plotter and my vinyl printer when I'm not retired. I'll get there with an entry, surely.
I miss my iPod the most. I read books with my ears and I am lost without them. Actually I think this whole thing happened to make me realize how dependent I have become to outside stimulation, so I will now go and meditate. After that, no Yoga.

My 'best kitchen' was in our DC house, for 20 years, situated beautifully in back of house facing yard/garden/TREE/alley, door, windows with open feeling. NO fancy appliances, but nicely put together, and became the party room!

I was going for a bit of a sleepy feel. Kind of dream-like.

Vivitar makes a 24 piece lens filter kit that has a filter for all kinds of creative photography. It's not the best out there but it's fun to use.

Got my computer back- Apple replaced its guts completely, it's practically brand new, and thanks to Apple Care Insurance I had to pay not even a little red cent.

I'm so happy to be back up and running.

Submitting a photo means you understand that if you win first place you are the host for the next month's contest, and only star members can post polls.
Also, of course, you have to have taken the photo yourself.

I entered a 'pay to enter' thing. Don't usually do this but the theme fit a series of photos I had done. They've moved the submission deadline back three times already due to lack of entries and they solicit photographers from around the world.

'Home' seems like a pretty easy theme. Oh well. Sorry you aren't getting more entries but it will make your Hosting a little less complicated.
