(18,219 posts)we have overcast skies and storms. I don't think that the weather has been good here for a meteor shower for years...and this year was so dry and sunny all summer.

(7,572 posts)We have clear skies here in Texas - would love to see some meteors. The last great show of meteors which I saw was in 1956! We lay out on the lawn and watched for a long time - it was magical.

(10,136 posts)The radiation point is near Perseus and Cassiopeia, but they can appear anywhere.
11pm to 5am. The moon is a little bright this year, so that is not helping.
I need to go about 90 miles away from Seattle to get dark sky, but I will see what I can get tonight.
