Trying to take portraits of people

I rarely take pictures of people but thought I'd try to capture my granddaughters after Christmas.

Does your editor have color filters for black and white? If it does, make them your playground.

Kids this age make perfect subjects as they generally love to be photographed and both of your granddaughters are certainly not camera shy.

If you wish to get more advanced with portrait photography, dedicated camera equipment vs a cell phone camera will offer you much greater creative control.
