Attn. Wa. state photogs and birders

Location: Veterans hospital at American Lake, Lakewood Wa.
What: Eagles....lots of eagles.
There is at least one nest likely more on the waterfront on the hospital grounds. Today, in a ten minute period, I witnessed a half dozen or more eagles cavorting around me...some were as close as ....well I heard the wind in their feathers let's put it that way. nuff said.

Get a photo and bring it here...............

I wonder how many eagles Washington has?

I didn't see any in Seattle in my last trip, but on Whidbey Island? Cavorting eagles, all around. They and the blackbirds cause quite a commotion.

Someone please go get pictures of these!

If so, go there, treat it as a photographic expedition-one you won't be disappointed in. Hell, the view across American Lake with Mr. Rainier in the background...(and I personally think our 'three co-equal peaked mtn. view' puts all else to shame), is worth the trip.
