I'm not sure when/if to open it up to two photographs per person.

Upping the number of entries to two is a new thing we have been trying to have a more substantive contest.
The couple of times it has been used have not caused a disruption or a problem.
IMO, if you decide to do it don't wait. Time is a-wasting for May, and folks need to ponder the request, hopefully with a second entry.
