Ready for my close-up!

The sun was shining right on this little ruby-throated hummingbird when I looked up from my desk a few minutes ago. Shot through the glass door to the deck where this feeder hangs.

5. Oh, you should. I love watching them.

Make your own sugar water (4 parts boiled water to 1 part granulated sugar) and change it every 4-5 days when it gets above 70 degrees outside.

VERY windy again, right here. I suspect they've had great picnics @ 'my' honeysuckle, but have only seen one in flight so far this year.
