Actually, I think the dish is French. My older daughter gave me four of them..........they say France on the bottom. Something like that.

It is a pretty dish.

ripened the week of the fourth of July. Apricots right after the 15 th of June. Back in the Mid West,lucky if we saw a ripe Peach by the middle of August.

This is absolutely my favorite time of year, I don't care how hot it is. When fresh organic peaches, cherries, berries, apricots, nectarines and all related goodies are in season, I'm in heaven. I've been known to make myself sick on cherries.

The ravin has been helping himself, I figured I better get some before they were all gone. Still hard but colored up, they will ripen and soften up.
