A storm just went through. I love the effect of sunlit trees against a dark cloudy background.

I like that storm against the light setup too. Until someone changes my mind, I'm calling them Doug Firs (Pseudotsuga menziesii), some of them with the crud. Where was the shot taken, the Northwest?

The shot was taken in north central Minnesota, a town called Park Rapids, close to Itasca State Park.
