3. I hobbled out in the rain, on my broken toe, to get that photo

I don't have nearly as many plants, this year, so I figured I'd better get a photo while I can.

It might all depend on which side of the house they are planted. Some years the front flower beds are practically over run with them. This year I have only a couple.

They are quite beautiful by the light of a full moon.

7. Anything pale or white like that is certainly visible outside quickly at night. After a few seconds

adjustment, Moon Flowers would be easy to see. This year, what side of the house are they on do you know? (North South, East, or West?) It's been so hot this year. Most stuff that was marginal. Died. Ugh.
Thanks for the picture. Back when I got the Moon Flower Seeds and the "groovy" ceramic desk pot, they had a roughly painted sketch on the front in a cool kind of Hippy blues and green water color. After they never grew I re-purposed the pot and saved the cool seed pouch. Ironically, I used it for a book mark and I found it again in the same book I was reading the last time I had seen it. Kind of synchronistically. Point being, I had forgotten it and w the advent of the internet, had never been reminded to look it up, and see what it looks like.
Thanks for the photo.
ps...maybe the book I was reading was seasonal....a summer book, and I get it out every year. 'A summer book for me is To Kill A Mockingbird.' and Grapes of Wrath...for some reason. I'm babbling. HAve a good weekend Siwsan.

5. They're beautiful - just don't eat them; they're very poisonous.

Angel's Trumpet (Brugmansia) is a different plant, but they're poisonous too. Seems like a lot of pretty things are dangerous, like coral snakes and Russian spies...

And they do have a very freaky looking seed pod. That should be warning enough.

some of these again this year. So far lots of vine, but no flowers yet. Last year they didn’t bloom until August and once they started they just kept on coming! My morning glories on the other hand didn’t do as well.
