the time i got a wild hair and drove to montana to camp

yeah, i know i'm absolute garbage at replying to comments (i largely live an "oh, hey, here's a postcard to say i'm ok, kthxbai" kinda life right now) but here i am again. these were taken at medicine rocks state park in montana, which i only found by pulling up a map of montana state parks to see if there was one i could get to within a few hours. pegged the spot around 230 friday, was on the road by 6 (had to do some serious grocery shopping cuz, yanno, pantry is pretty bare come payday and then clear six months of detritus from the car).

i spent more time than i have in a long time futzing with settings to get the light right (damned big sky country) and some artsy fartsy shit for good measure

love you guys!

in the Cave Hills and Slim Buttes of Harding County, SD. If you like vistas and solitude it's fantastic.
