We see these in the cascade mountains but I rarely see them in gardens. Are they hard to grow?

I really don't do anything - they just keep popping up and expanding.

I like to grow flowers and Garlic along the garden fence because they help to block the view and hinder the burrowing of the furry garden chompers.
