Overload picture alert but to be fair I think did pretty well to only post 14 when I took over 400!!!!! 12. That is a major celebration!

Here in the US that kind of celebration is seen in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Had no idea this sort of Carnival existed in London unrelated to Mardis Gras/Lent.

They are called the Go Homes. Look at their headware. The Windrush is there. It is an expression of how our Afro Caribbean community feels disenfranchised by what is happening here in the UK. Fucking marvellous street art
