Thank you for sharing them with us. Birds aren’t an easy subject!

Do you know what kind of birds those are in the first and second photos?

3. The first is a female purple finch.

Don't know what the second is but they flock and eat like starlings. 20 or so will descend on my feeders and go through 4 cups of sunflower seeds in a few hours.

8. The beaks are a bit longer and thinner. Like I said they behave like starlings and are messy

eaters. Coloration is much like female purple finch but again the finch beak is short and thick like a cardinal's. I wish I could discourage them without doing the same to the rest of my flock.
