The back story SW Florida here. Many better off MAGA's here. My next door neighbor has their nose up the sheriff's keister and when #BLM started she started.

First it was blue painter's tape on the stop sign posts like a blue and white barber pole.
Then the black and white flag with the blue stripe ... We support law enforcement.
Phase 3 was to put solar garden lights on each oak tree along our street. Blue of course.
Next it was get every house to put a blue light on their porch.

I did not put a light on my porch. I don't own the oak along the street so I just let it be.

Oh, it gets better

It is broadcast all over the Next Door app. (mini Facebook that is just as annoying and intrusive)
People in the compound ooh and aah over how supportive my street is.
A MAGA golf cart parade ensues.
Some cranky, snowflake complains to the HOA as rules and covenants are broken. The board holds a meeting and even though they are MAGA themselves, they remind people that the lights on the street trees are not permitted, garden lights can only be white light and flags by law and covenant can only be "flags allow by state law" (American, state, armed services, etc) Blue Lives Matter flags are not on the list.

The Loophole So MAGA board says, "Anyone violating these rules will receive a letter saying STOP.
Then if you do not, you'll get a second letter.
Finally one must prove they have remedied the problem and all is good.
Then you just do it all over again.
Light up the street. Get your first warning letter, the second, remove, prove, rinse and repeat.

5. The Boogers have a flag

Its a bastardized version of the American flag with an igloo in the star field and a Hawaiian shirt stripe in the middle where you typically see the blue stripe on the cops flag. I refuse to post a picture of either flag here (not perpetuating hate).

4. Same tendencies here, not quite as rampant

We haven't had any political signs on lawns that I've seen, but all the ridiculous flags, banners, decals, and bumper stickers being paraded on the streets is intimidating. We're west of Naples near 3 schools. Even some kids drive golf carts flying magat-themed propaganda.

6. There is a meaning to blue lights within Amsterdam's red light district

Maybe you want to ask if they are advertising? Or just put the word out...

At the red light district and in some streets more than in other streets in that area some of the windows have blue lights. every weekend whole groups of (often British) drunk and stoned guys walk in and out those premises with blue lights oblivious of the fact that those lights indicate the presence of (more or less) sexually transformed hookers.

Of course, there is a certain kind of humour involved and you laugh a bit inside when you (as a local) see (again, mostly drunk) tourists stumbling out of those places knowing that they most probably are unaware of this.
