It's been raining for the last few days and even in the dead of winter there are these tiny plants that take roots in the thin soil that collects in the crevices.

The tinted rocks, the brilliant and fuzzy green of the central plant, along with all the tiny plants, make this an outstanding photo!

(14,559 posts)Trying to add to my repertoire instead of relying on the archives. The juxtaposition of colors, textures and the way the delicate plants play against the hardness of the stone works pretty well.
