(22,380 posts)yesterday I looked for close to an hour for my State Park photos from a long ago trip. As I did I got sidetracked on much I had forgotten. I hope for some of us it will be like taking a trip through history to bountiful

(149,720 posts)My old printer had died and I was in the market for a new one. A friend of ours who runs an office support store was looking for one for me.
You see, all my national park photos are film based! They have to be scanned and I couldn't do that without a new printer/scanner!
So I called our friend and he had found a printer that suited me, and that afternoon, it got installed! I proceeded to scan my photos and then I made my choice. Crazy!
I love this little flower. I do have great photos of the Grand Teton National Park mountains, but I wanted something different. So here we are.
Enjoy!

(22,380 posts)and it speaks for Grand Teton, where I have been lucky enough to be. It actually is famous not only for the "Tetons" but it's flora around the spectacular lake.
Seeing the cherry trees in bloom had been on my bucket list for years. Finally went in 2015. Got up early for the light and walked the loop from the Washington Monument around the Tidal Basin all the way to the Lincoln Memorial. Couldn't believe the number of people that were there at 8:30 in the morning! Shot April 11, 2015.
big bend is my favorite place in texas. I try and go once a year to shoot the night sky but didnt last year due to covid. It has the darkest skies in the continental US with the nearest town of 5k people over 70 miles away. Im planning a possible trip later in spring this year. If I go ill probably sleep in my car like i did last time.
