Andy, DU is still not allowing me to send DU mail. Would you mind, and I'll understand if you do, sending me your email address to my inbox? Thanks, either way.

It takes a trained eye to 'really see' what's in the view finder!
In my earlier years as a wedding photographer I was always focusing my 'eye' on the main subjects and ignoring little details in the background.
One time in a beautiful park setting I had a lovely couple in THE perfect spot - sun was right - gown was flowing - groom was happy (not always happening for wedding photographers - trust me!) - and a huge yellow garbage can was sitting just off to the left of the bride - that I saw for the first time when the proofs came back!!!!!
(yeah, this was the dark ages - FILM - not digital!)

Really - learn to look at the ENTIRE frame!

Sounds like you can still see that huge yellow garbage can, MyOwnPeace! I'm curious - were you able to "fix" the situation?

it took an "air-brush artist" to fix it - and indeed she did!
This was ALL pre-digital - make it work however you can!
Oh, yes - it was a lesson well-learned - trust me.
Attention to such details are things that do separate the 'novice' from the Pros.

How wonderful it is to see a photograph in your head and be aware of the lighting and shooting angles and make it all come out in a satisfying picture. I'm guessing you've been a photographer for awhile. What kind of a kit do you use?
