(14,559 posts)3. That is an Ivory spotted wood borer. If you look closely at the
'full bug' picture you can see a small yellowish spot about half way down his back. Just about every bug gets ugly when ya' get this close.

We have roaches that can fly, though, and they're pretty ugly, too.
