(31,397 posts)which is why I catch so many beautiful sunrises! Rarely do I sleep past 5 am which means I'm usually ready for a siesta after lunch!

(149,659 posts)It actually went on for quite a few minutes; I've got 4 or 5 intensely vibrant photos, very much like this one.
I even took one of them and had my local print guy make me some cards! They're blank inside and I use them to write notes.

(1,333 posts)Our sunsets here are nothing like that, but even what they are only last till the sun moves a tiny bit and then the vivid moment is over.
