The overall photo looks nearly 3-dimensional to my eyes. It's wonderful!

(5,420 posts)Never been much good at "moon shots." Nonetheless this one came out okay I think. Everything: definition, color, in-focus area is straight out of the camera. For once I did no post-production. I really appreciate your comments, because if there is one thing I know it is that YOU KNOW THE MOON!

(5,420 posts)We're blessed to live on the high desert in central Washington State. Nice combination of trees and open spaces and good green grass for our horses. It was funny, I stepped out to shoot the sunset, but it wasn't real great. Turned back around and there was this moon.
