I never pass up an opportunity to look at what you've posted. I may not comment every time, but I enjoy them, especially of the osprey family!

I'm very fortunate, retired and living in southern MD (near my daughter,) found this impossibly great place to rent an old house, through craig's list, on my own little peninsula at confluence of a major river and a small creek.

Concluded a few weeks after moving in that I should have a camera; had had one years passed, but 'lost' it when separated and moved from DC. NOW have a fine Nikon, enables me to catch scenery AND wildlife, and discovered later there's an osprey nest adjacent, so learning all about them; adults migrate 2x year between MD and s/central America ((!!!)) and have kids up here, so I watch them grow, and I learn about ospreys!
