3. It's a small praying mantis.

He came in through the pet door last night and I found him this afternoon on the window. Really quite the friendly guy. We hung out for an hour or so with him posing on my left hand while I put him in various places and shot pics with my right hand.

Around to take pictures from different angles, with flash, without flash, on different plants and was about as cooperative a subject as I've had. After about an hour and a half I let him go in the back yard. Great fun!
