1. Sort of looks like black opal.

3. It looks like Roman glass.

My wife had a gift shop years ago and had jewelry made from shards of the glass. These shots were from pieces we had after we closed the shop and sold years ago on ebay.

Could be the artist who made mine was aware of the tradition of Roman glass and incorporated that into the earrings I have.
