as they cut it back for winter. There were newly cut roses everywhere. I picked up quite a few and a woman saw me and did the same. I took mine home and hung them upside down to dry them in bouquets.

That would make a beautiful block print, I was thinking. The lines are so gracefully set.

I like the DOF on the first two; the bokeh (blurry background) makes the flowers look even more magnificent than they are!

And the grasses look like summer.

Like California Peggy says, that photograph's blurry background sets off the in-focus rose beautifully. Looks like you had a nice walk!
