.....this same image of the Moon. I characterized it as a "fingernail moon", to which the little smart aleck said "no, it's a fingernail 'clipping' moon, Grampa". What can I say, he takes after his grandmother.

Normally I would answer each one of you individually, but today I am crunched for time.

My apologies!

As for the poster who thought this might have been a long exposure: it was not. I shot it at 1/60 of a second. I almost certainly used my tripod, to prevent blurriness!

I am not anywhere near the level of competency for shooting nebula!
