Pardon my puzzle! I'm unsure what you're seeing as the frame. Is it the branches or the slight vignette around the edges?

That old moon hasn't changed in decades (maybe longer) but the branches frame it nicely to add depth and interest. A skyline or tree line gives great perspective to a night sky as well.
