between the ladle and the pan(?). And the wavy curving light patterns on the lower part of the pan are quite intriguing. There you go again, seeing everyday things differently, giving them new appeal and charm.

Actually, the pan is a stainless steel spoon rest. I used to have a ceramic one...........but it broke.

If I drop this one, and it falls on my foot... well, you know what happens! So I'm careful, handling it.

I really appreciate your observant comments on the curving light patterns of the spoon rest. I hadn't really seen them. Not consciously, anyway.

My masterpiece is a giant lobster shell hand painted to look like it just came out of the pot and I mounted it. My friends said I should make them for restaurants but it took way too much time and I'd never make a profit so I have the one and only. I have also made art out of modern patterned plates that were broken. Mounted with colors it looks very cool along with utensils.
