You like to garden, so you have an eye for color, shape, and texture already. The crocus shot was taken with my phone! I don't have fancy equipment. Time of day and the light weigh heavily in several of the shots.
Get a good point and shoot camera and practice getting close to your garden in the early morning, late afternoon, and on cloudy days. You'll be amazed at what you can capture.

(31,384 posts)I expected the daffodils to come up first, but they didn't! The tulips are now losing petals and some daffodils haven't yet bloomed. Crazy.
