sunnyvale CA. We have a program which required commercial developers to have public art with any development over some threshold. I was on the arts commission for 5 years and had to approve some of them.
It was an interesting process and we couldn't say No to an installation because we didn't like it.
Since Sunnyvale isn't as walkable as many European city centers it is hard to see a lot of the works.
