(149,181 posts)My Olympus Mark IV has an app of sorts where you can choose pre-set values for the photo, depending on what you're shooting.
I happen to like very much their macro settings. And that's what you're seeing here.

(14,559 posts)My favorite time of year and I'm so effin' tired of winter.
BTW, the camera may have made some settings, but you're the one who saw the picture. The camera is just a box . . .

(149,181 posts)Spring is definitely my favorite time of year! Even here, where our winters hardly qualify for the name!
I can still see the timid signs of spring creeping everywhere.
I love to preserve them in my photos.
Just a box? Well....a pretty advanced one, I'd say.

(9,300 posts)Modern cameras that have a "macro" mode adjust the optics to deliver great performance on close objects.
Mother Nature's a mad scientist. Enjoy every little detail.

(149,181 posts)That feature is really useful! I am especially fond of macro photos and am always working on them.
Mother Nature is truly a mad scientist, and you know I am enjoying every little detail!
