My Olympus Mark IV has an app of sorts where you can choose pre-set values for the photo, depending on what you're shooting.

I happen to like very much their macro settings. And that's what you're seeing here.

My favorite time of year and I'm so effin' tired of winter.

BTW, the camera may have made some settings, but you're the one who saw the picture. The camera is just a box . . .

Spring is definitely my favorite time of year! Even here, where our winters hardly qualify for the name!

I can still see the timid signs of spring creeping everywhere.

I love to preserve them in my photos.

Just a box? Well....a pretty advanced one, I'd say.

Glad you're enjoying them. I'm really lucky! The tree is right outside my study and as long as there's daylight, I can see it.

Modern cameras that have a "macro" mode adjust the optics to deliver great performance on close objects.

Mother Nature's a mad scientist. Enjoy every little detail.

That feature is really useful! I am especially fond of macro photos and am always working on them.

Mother Nature is truly a mad scientist, and you know I am enjoying every little detail!
