I tried to grow one in front of my house a few years ago but it didn’t survive. I am envious of yours.

If I had a yard to plant it in, it might get bigger

I have taken great photos in greenhouses because THERE'S NO WIND to make the flowers move around and blur the photo. And often, nice diffuse light makes flowers "glow"

And it is COLD! 🥶

One cold day after another, sprinkled with just enough warm days here and there to raise false hopes. Getting SO tired of this garbage weather!

They’re nothing artsy but I am so tired of seeing a brown and gray landscape … thought I’d post some colorful flowers for a change.

My grandmother had a huge shrub of them right in front of her front porch and they were the white ones. So beautiful in the spring. She loved gardening and always had a big vegetable garden and she also grew many flowers, even during the depression when planting flowers was considered a waste of time. Thank you for stirring up that memory!
