April Second, Spring in Munich

It started yesterday. The spring snow fall.
About 2 inches by around noon and we are still
getting some coming down. The cause was undoubtedly
children having their sleds put away for the season.

1. It is pretty. I am so dying for warm weather here

2. "Sugar snow" before little spring buds

is good for sap collection to make lots of maple syrup!

4. We didn't get snow here in Aix- but we did get the cold mistral.

Hoping that summer isn't brutal, as we don't have air-con.

5. No AC for us here

The natives think we were crazy in that we installed ceiling fans in the bedrooms
for any hot weather.
Right now it is -1 and still snowing.

7. We put ceiling fans in our bedroom and lounge.

I'm planning on putting another in the guest bedroom.
It's weird, but some older places have ceiling fans while newer ones don't.

Our French electrician recommended Casafan - which are made in Germany. Really good and silent.

Snow in the springtime never happens here, but then we have a much warmer climate.

It must be strange to have to adjust to a spell of winter just when you were more than ready for spring!
