Great timing! I've never seen the female Cardinal before. She's quite pretty while he is showy! ♥

I think there would be more if I were closer to big trees.
On the other hand, I had three pairs of doves here the other day!

I love watching the male give the female sunflower seeds.

I wish I'd been able to get shots of them when the tulips were all blooming. Here's one pair recently, with one lone tulip still in bloom.

I live in Connecticut. We're just starting to get the earliest spring bulbs but no tulips yet.

in my back yard every day, and I still marvel at their beauty every time. After all, they are Ohios state bird!!
