Great finale. Double cliffhanger
Very complicated storyline, very well done and great acting .

(3,266 posts)my mind with her acting chops, but I always thought she was a better actor than a singer. She's going toe-to-toe with Ray Liotta, and pulling it off. This is a GREAT show!
I screamed at the TV when they said "Shades of Blue will return in 2018"...HOW LONG I GOTTA WAIT FOR THAT DOUBLE CLIFFHANGER!!!!
I don't know a lot of people who watch it, but they're missing out. Not your average cop shop drama.

(2,574 posts)Lopez acting is wonderful and her character has become much more profound, both obsessively maternal and
coldly black widow. At first both Lopez and Liotta played upon our preconceptions of their acting stereotypes, Lopez normal, Liotta crazy. In this finale it was made clear that they're both psychologically & morally off the rails and, in the best film noir tradition, we are rooting for them anyway.
