"Rock on" LOL did you see Robert Conrad, being psychically contacted and partially controlled, by a space-rock?

(16,104 posts)"Route 66" in sequence, a show I remembered vaguely from my early childhood - but my parents watched it religiously.
It is quite a look at an America that doesn't exist anymore, while it was changing! Milner and Maharis were modeled after Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" characters, and the writing was very often superb. And all the youthful guest stars who we have watched for the last 50 years - what memories.

(40,416 posts)At 12:30 AM EST on very early December 26 morning you can witness one of Rod Serling's greatest teleplays and a legendary Twilight Zone episode. It features the incredible Art Carney as a tippling department store Santa. The rest is history. This is incredible.

Merry merry, and Happy happy to you all. Watch "Night of the Meek" on ME TV late Christmas night.

(16,104 posts)The thing I like best about Rod Serling is how he repeatedly pointed out we create our own realities in our heads - just as real as anywhere else. And we can make that a good reality.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

And a Merry Merry and a Happy Happy to you and yours, too.
