Related: About this forumBetter Call Saul question. What does the black and white parts of the program mean?
It is Jimmy with a different name, etc. I was thinking maybe it is supposed to be him AFTER "Breaking Bad."
Any suggestions??

(29,204 posts)he pulled the ripcord to escape ABQ and is living in Omaha working at the Krispy Cream (or is in Dunkin Donuts?).
They previewed this when he talked about the option as Saul Goodman with Walter White when Walter was worried about Gus killing him and his family.
Walter didn't pull the trigger then... but did later after Hank was killed in the shoot out with the Prison Gang meth heads.
However, Walter only followed the protocol from the guy that could "disappear" people for a short time (as he became sicker and sicker with cancer and decided to get the money he "earned" to his family and to take out the Prison Gang meth heads and free Jesse).
Saul (not told in either show) also pulled the rip cord and took the escape route. Yet to be seen if he eventually decides that the heat is off from being involved with Walter, Gus, and the cartel... and with Mike Ehrmantraut (fixer who's people were all killed by the Prison Meth Gang in a effort to keep Gus and his cartel business quiet).

(29,204 posts)I forgot.
The way we KNOW that this is post BB is that he goes home to his apartment and keeps the curtains pulled... and he even thinks that some customers look like either cartel enforcers or undercover FBI agents.
Not to mention that when he gets accidentally locked in the trash area (the door closes with him the trash area) and he decides to NOT use his cell phone to call for help or to push on the alarmed door... both actions would draw some attention to him... so he waits until a janitor arrives for the morning shift and opens the door.

(115,693 posts)Either the cartel or the FBI might still be looking for him, or both. I don't remember if he had money squirreled away from his work with Walter White.

(29,204 posts)IF he was able to get to the wall safes in his office. BB implied that he had been doing work for Gus and cartel for quite some time before the era of Walter White.
Time lines are a little confused as BCS has concentrated on his life as a "legit" lawyer (almost legit) in ABQ and trying to work with his brother's law firm, etc.
But as the BCS has gone along, we see what is driving him to being a drug cartel lawyer... even changing his name "It's all good, man" (Saul Goodman)
