Veep, anyone?

I have to watch both episodes again because I was laughing so hard, I'm missing dialogue.

And last night, when Selina is summoned to the Situation Room, the JLD take was worth four full episodes of "Yes, Minister." And I swear by "Yes, Minister"!

...oh, this is boring.

By the end of Ep 1, though, I loved it.

Is that Anna Chlumsky all growed up? She's funny.

I knew I recognized her, and I was thinking it was the blonde lady from The Killing. But then her character came back to the show and it obviously wasn't her. Oh, that's so cool. Thanks!

I love Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and very much liked "West Wing" but I saw the first 2 episodes of "Veep" and I didn't find a redeeming feature to it, and not AT ALL funny. Just Washington stereotypes saying "fuck" once per sentence as in "hey, we're on HBO and we can say fuck". I really wanted to like it, but I tried another few minutes here and there and it just does not work for me at all.
