Found Scott and Bailey. Two female detectives in Manchester. Their pertains lives sort of take a back seat to the mysteries. But there is a serial killer plot running through the episodes.

7. One of my very favorites crime series is New Tricks (bunch of recent retirees led by a 40ish high

flyer who did something wrong and got put in the penalty box leading this motley crew to solve cold cases)

Of course you can’t really go wrong with anything on BritBox. And for a light hearted comedy I loved open All Hours and Still Open All Hours (20 years later with most of the same cast) lots of laugh out loud moments.

2. I've seen about half but out of order..it's stunning to see two women on TV without heavy makeup

That's what I notice a bout British tv...show feature middle aged men and women..no heavy makeup

8. They may look normal but they drive on the wrong side of the street and speak some funny

dialect of English. My wife and I have been binge watching Brit mysteries for several months now. I like 'em. We are watching Unforgotten now. It has a good cast, outstanding acting, good plot lines and beautiful scenery. It comes free if you can tolerate the ads.

And older people don't have romances.
