(102,276 posts)I know it has to do with the waterfront project and I assume bribes, but I don't get the big conspiracy.

(34,170 posts)Really it was nothing that couldn't be denied before the election, but the person who saw Rosie on the 10th floor panicked (especially when he saw the camera).

(34,170 posts)...what was Rosie doing at the casino every Wednesday night depositing money in an ATM. If it was a legit waitress job I would have thought she'd be verified on the casino's books.

(4,851 posts)which would be typical of a place like that. She was depositing the cash into her "get away" account probably so she would not spend it.

(9,350 posts)I was surprised at how much of the episode turned out. I did think someone other than Jamie had something to do with the case; however, I did not think Terry had anything to do with it. I was also surprised by the way Richmond turned out in the end. I kept thinking he would Resign as mayor due to the actions taken by Jamie. Instead he turned out to be exactly how Jamie said he was.

(4,851 posts)I felt he was hiding something despicable. I thought it was the killing, but it was that he is not the good man he ran as, just another politician.

(30 posts)Maybe more from watching them watch it. That episode will stick with me for awhile.
I wish Linden hadn't gotten out of the car, though.

(17,742 posts)I suspected Jamie since almost the first episode.
I couldnt' watch very closely when it was on Sunday, how did the sister end up at the lake? How did she know Jamie? I assume it involved that married man she was seeing, who was he again?
Bolo Boffin
(23,796 posts)She had picked him up at the ferry and they were on their way to the airport when Jaime called him.

(17,055 posts)She thought the person in the trunk was already dead and she had no clue it was Rosie.
Damn good show!
What's up with Linden? Is she quitting the force?

I agree that she didn't know it was Rosie, but I'm not sure she thought she was dead.
And I thought I heard screaming when the car went in. I think she knew she killed someone's daughter.
Yes, I too felt sympathy for Terri. The storyline had her be so helpful and generous to stan and family. One really couldn't help but feel sorry.
Little Star
(17,055 posts)but I thought it was only after the car went into the water? Like maybe the water brought Rosie back to consciousness?

(75 posts)Still no word on whether AMC is picking up The Killing. I hope they do. There is so little on network tv that I watch (No judgment just not as interesting) I was a little disappointed with the ending I thought it was Jamie all of season 2 and picked up on something going on with Aunt Terri for most of season. But the ending scenes at the lake, watching Rosie's tape, and watching Linden and Holder saying goodbye (sort of) was really good. They cant write Linden out. She and Holder make a terrific team. Time will tell.

(14,557 posts)I read somewhere that AMC may not have to confirm a new Season until right before Enos' and Kinnaman's contracts end in Oct. or Nov...bet we know before them, though.
I had to finally erase the last episode from my DVR because I kept watching it. I don't want to fixate.
Hoping for a Season 3.

(34,170 posts)When I watched season 1, I kept thinking that I was learning clues about the killer, but really I wasn't. The commercials really led viewers to think that we were going to find out the killer at the end of season 1 and we didn't.
I don't think I'll enjoy watching season 3 if I know we're just going through the dead end leads on the case as a set up for a season 4.
The Killing may have been an effective one shot deal. I'll give it a try, but I have low expectations.
One the other hand, the writing, directing, and acting were so good that maybe they can pull it off again.

(16,334 posts)I think they can keep us if they just go one season to solve.
I remember watching 24 and thinking it was interesting...until it wasn't. lol.
