Major goof in tonight's The Good Wife

Alicia is speaking to jury and says the energy drink in question contains 240 mg of caffeine,
and says that is the equivelent of 12 cups of coffee.

Intertubes says:...Coffee, 8oz drip 104-192 mg

Most people drink a 12 to 16 oz cup size, yes? No?

1. Yes. My French press says it makes eight cups. It makes two.

2. I think a coffee cup that comes with a home place setting is 6 oz, but

sizes sold at retail food outlets tend to be bigger.

3. So, let's assume a cup of coffee is 16 oz and double the amount of caffeine

so if 8 oz = 104 mg of caffeine
obviously one cup of 16 oz coffee would come to 208 mg.

I am not getting where they pulled the 240 mg= 12 cups of coffee.
