BBCA's Broadchurch, anyone else catch season 1, episode 1, last night?

I think it's going to be a keeper, just like many of BBC's shows, they're usually pretty good.

1. I DVR'ed it.

Watched it today. Excellent show, very emotional and detailed. Not a lot of progress on what happened to the child.

It's an interesting take on how these events actually play out.

I was pleased and heartened by the shock of everyone in this village about a single death. It's such a foreign thing to them. Makes me wish I lived in such a place.

I love the lack of LOUD intrusive music in the UK shows..and once I get used to their speech mannerisms, I really enjoy watching them.

3. Yes. Looks like it will be quite good. Hated the number of commercial breaks though....

....seemed even more than usual..I think I'll DVR it and watch it sans commercials..I hate the way it broke up the flow of the drama..
