BBCA's 'Luther'......

season three starts on Sept. 3, 2013.

But guess what else is happening with Luther?

Idris Elba Plans To Bring Luther To The Big Screen

Luther creator Neil Cross told Mirror that the Golden Globe-winning series that recently revealed its third and final season is being translated into a film, which ought to appeal to fans of the series as well as those who haven’t yet come across it. (Those poor bastards!) Rather than picking up where season three ended, Cross told the assembled audience at the Edinburgh TV Festival that the Luther movie would play as prequel to the series. That means some characters from the show, who wouldn’t have been around for a movie that followed season three, are now back in the game.

If you get a chance read the whole article. Pretty interesting what they plan to do with the movie.

It's pretty awesome so far, as the other series have been. I'm pretty psyched for the movie but just as much, I'm hoping they get the Alice spin-off to go... Form the bottom of this article:

"Unfortunately, by going the prequel route, the one character who won't make an appearance is the popular and murderous Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson). Cross says Alice may return, however, as the lead in her own spin-off series.

Cross says: "The BBC is very interested in the project. The truth is I absolutely adore Alice! We're kind of thinking very loosely of a mix between The Talented Mr Ripley and The Last Seduction.""

You cheating or something? lol

I agree about adoring Alice Morgan. Fingers crossed that she does return as the lead in her own spin-off series!

I will be seeing the movie, no doubt about that.

Holy crap! The first three episodes are great Luther but episode 4... Best Luther episode ever! I've watched it 3 times now and still can't get enough of it. You will have a smile on your face the whole time, it's amazing.
